My Story
In 2014, I saw a friend tagged in a picture at CrossFit Crescent in Amman, Jordan. Little did I know that this single image would change my life!
I joined the same box immediately, and by the end of 2015, I had earned my CF-L1 certification along with other fitness-related courses. I began shadow coaching at my home box, setting the foundation for a journey that would shape my career.
Fast forward to today, I have over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry; I've earned more than 20 certifications, attended countless seminars and courses, visited over 40 CrossFit boxes worldwide, and coached more than 10,000 hours of CrossFit classes, yoga, and 1-on-1 sessions. I have also worked with dozens of individual athletes remotely across the globe helping them improve and get to their fitness goals.
During my career, I became the Head Coach and Manager at CrossFit Crescent, a position I held until mid-2021. Early 2022, I moved to Berlin, where I spent two years as a lead coach at CrossFit Grenzgänger. Alongside coaching, I have been actively involved in competitions, whether as an athlete, judge, organizer, or even a programmer. One of my most rewarding experiences was serving as the head programmer and judge for the Decapolis Games in Jordan.
Beyond coaching, I engaged with CrossFit Headquarters as an Arabic-English translator for multiple CF-L1 seminars and played a key role in translating and proofreading the Arabic CF-L1 study guide. I also enrolled in the CF-HQ internship program to become a staff member. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, I couldn't complete the program, but it's still a goal I hope to pursue in the future.
Before CrossFit, my passion for movement and performance took shape through Circassian Dance. For 20 years, from childhood to adulthood, I found joy in being on stage, representing my culture through dance. When I discovered CrossFit, I realized it offered a similar sense of movement, community, and fun.
Outside of fitness, I have a deep passion for architecture. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the German-Jordanian University, I have over a decade of experience in the field; architecture remains a creative and intellectual outlet that continues to inspire me and challenge the creative side of my brain.
